I don’t know if I’m ready for a thematic anthology or book, but this challenge has inspired me to collect my poems from the Four Winds…they are hidden everywhere. In journals, in my phone, in boxes, on old Facebook posts. And sadly, some probably lost forever because I didn’t save them. So thank you for the catalyst!!

Well if not ready for full manuscript then our poetry prize opens Mar 1 and has a $3,000 prize fund. You can submit single poems or up to 5 per submission

I'll be editing my manuscript for the next few months, but I will be sending a few poems when the LemonLight Prize opens. : )

Amazing! I look forward to reading them- well they’re all anonymous submissions when they come over to us - but you get my drift.

We’ll be having another open reading period from July - September for manuscripts too.

How many poems or pages is needed for the Inaugural submissions? I may have to wait for lemon light. Do we know how many poems needed for lemon light ?

@Dr.Akinke For the manuscript we recommend at least 40 pages, as we’re looking to publish a full book. For The LemonLight you can submit 5 poems per submission and unlimited submissions :)
