Video: Why I Founded Ink & Ribbon Press

A small act of defiance in an age of disposability

When I first began dreaming of Ink & Ribbon Press, it wasn’t out of nostalgia. It was out of need. The need to find myself again. The need to make something slow, something that lasts, in a world where words vanish as quickly as they’re read.

This short 10 minute video tells the story of the beginnings of Ink & Ribbon Press - and how you can be part of this early start-up.

Ink & Ribbon Press stands in quiet defiance of convenience culture.

We publish fewer things, but we make them unforgettable.

We print poetry that endures — because some words deserve to be held.
